Chart type and a backstitch layer aren't configurable yet. Generating a pattern produces two PDFs, both importable into the Pattern Keeper app: a Pattern Overview (title page, full-color one-page design preview, symbol key & thread requirements, shopping list) and a Stitching Chart (title page, symbol key & thread requirements, shopping list, and the paginated black-and-white chart you'll stitch from).
