Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Stitched Patterns account and associated data at any time. Here's how, and what happens when you do.

How to Request Deletion

1. Email support@stitchedpatterns.com from the email address associated with your Stitched Patterns account.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account" (or similar) and let us know you'd like your account and data deleted.
3. We'll confirm your identity against the account email and process your request, typically within a few business days.

What Gets Deleted

• Your account and email address. Removed from our sign-in system.
• Generated artwork and patterns. AI-generated images and pattern files tied to your account are deleted from storage.
• Account activity. Your generation history and preferences are removed.

What May Be Retained

• Purchase and gift records. Where a pattern you purchased or gifted is still owned or was claimed by another Stitched Patterns account, the transaction record (pattern, price, date) may be retained as needed for that other account's access, receipts, and legal/accounting requirements — with your email address removed or anonymized where possible.
• Payment records held by our payment processor. Stripe and RevenueCat, our payment providers, retain their own transaction records per their own policies; we don't control their retention periods.
• Data required by law. Anything we're legally required to keep (for example, tax or fraud-prevention records) is retained only as long as required, then deleted.

Outside of the exceptions above, we don't retain a backup copy of your deleted account data beyond what's needed to complete the deletion itself.

Deleting the App Instead

Uninstalling the Stitched Patterns app from your device does not delete your account or data — it only removes the app. Use the steps above to request account deletion.
